Email This
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., bested former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee to win Oklahoma’s Republican primary and secure most of the state’s 38 delegates, reported the Associated Press.
McCain also scooped up 53 delegates in Arizona, where a victory in his home state was expected. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney left his competitors in the dust in Utah, taking all 36 delegates, according to the AP.
Romney celebrated his wins in Michigan, Massachusetts and Utah in a speech in Boston, telling a cheering crowd: “One thing that’s clear is this campaign is going on. … We’re going to win this thing and we’re going to go all the way to the White House.”

McCain would be winning nothing if there weren't 3 conservatives & one liberal in the race. The religious bigotry of candidates like Huckabee & his supporters are going to destroy the Republican party because they have left Conservatives with an unacceptable choice which means Republicans lose nationally. Many conservatives would rather have Obama than more Bush-like years with McCain who is even further left than Bush and more of a traitor to conservatives. Congratulations to Huckabee and followers. They have destroyed the Republican party.
