Linda Jenkins : Would someone please address the fact that a maverick is not a leader - by definition? How can McCain lead his own party, much less the Democrats in crafting a consensus-driven health plan?

German : I am a kidney transplant and live in FL. I have had to research Fl Medicaid to make up the difference that Medicare does not pay to access medical coverage. Medicare and Medicaid are derived from Social Security Chapter 42 Title 18 and 19. The reason why HMO's want to enter is that billing can be done less expensive. The problem is that profit will not be very much and that is were the problem begins. When the billing is done solely by the State/Federal than the streemlining of the health information inferstructure can be less costly and the patient/beneficiary can truly benefit. I understand that Candidate Jay McGovern is a serious candidate and is looking at this very adjustment to correct the inequality of health control.
