PAUL HOFFMAN
Paul has been president and editor-in-chief of Discover magazine, the country's largest science
monthly, since 1987. Paul was a special science correspondent for Good Morning America and has appeared on CNN, ABC News, and The Charlie Rose Show. He has written for many national magazines, including The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine, Smithsonian, and Business Week, and was
the first winner of the National Magazine Award for Feature Writing. He has written ten books, including
Archimedes's Revenge: The Joys and Perils of Mathematics. Paul lives in New York City.
