Special Correspondent Simon Marks is the News Hour's roving international affairs reporter. Since 1992 he's contributed coverage to the program from a wide array of international datelines, including Russia, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, India, Pakistan, the disputed territory of Kashmir, France and his native Britain.

Simon began his career at Independent Television News of London, then worked for The Christian Science Monitor's television and radio networks.

Based in Moscow from 1991 - 1993, his home now is in Washington DC, from where he also runs his own independent broadcast news agency, Feature Story News.
