Artists Support www.witness.org is a project founded by artist and Witness Board member Izhar Patkin to promote awareness of Witness. This image is the work of Patkin, who was born in Israel, and Shirin Neshat, born in Iran. Each image is collaboration between two artists born in different countries. This image was produced by Alfredo Jaar of Chile and Dayanita Singh of India. The project features fine art prints by internationally renowned visual artists and photographers. This work is by Cai Guo-Qiang of China and Kiki Smith of Germany. Sales of the prints are donated to Witness. The Brazilian artist, Sebastiao Salgado, and William Wegman of the U.S., produced this image.
