Poster: Alice Andrews Comment: I echo all the above comments re: Retired Gen. Wesley Clark. For these times and the serious threats to our country from without and our Democracy from within, no candidate but Wes Clark has the credentials and ability to address these threats effectively. He knows who's who in the Pentagon, the military-industrial complex, the corporations and also foreign governments. None of them can bamboozle him! Duty, Honor, Country are words he lives by! Poster: LynneM Comment: For president - retired General Wesley Clark. He has it all, unparallelled national security experience, strong domestic experience (he ran military bases and was a Rhodes Scholar and White House fellow in economics), and huge international stature and credibility. He's brilliant, warm and personable and genuine cares for the people around him. I'd take anyone he picked to be VP. Poster: whl Comment: Wes Clark because he as the leadership skills & the smarts to put the USA on the correct course, he knows the talented people to appoint for his cabinet, he understands how to clean out the Pentagon, he is plausible to other world leaders, he is a pragmatic realist, and he can state his ideas clearly to the citizens of the USA. Poster: Pennsylvania Comment: Wesley Clark is the man I would vote for without a second thought. Imagine a President who could devise his own strategies for Foreign Policy without consulting a think tank, a President who understands and can teach Economics, a President who can speak intelligently on just about any subject you care to mention. (And yes, say Nuclear, correctly) A President who has earned the trust and admiration of other countries by his actions and a President who demonstrates empathy for all, not just a chosen few. It has been said previously, but I'll repeat: Wes Clark is the President we were promised as children. Poster: M. Smith, CA Comment: I can do this with my eyes closed and half asleep. General Wes Clark for President. I see no other options. I see no other way to extricate ourselves from six years of military blunder, foreign policy disaster, and domestic piracy. If there is any better resume than General Clark's -- I have not seen it in the line up of any usual suspects. After having proven himself as an incomparable world leader as Supreme Allied Commander of NATO --- being the leader of the country would be a natural role for the four star with real compassion. Having served the country for over three decades and shed blood for it --places him in a unique postion of understanding just how precious our rights are. Our rights that are at risk due to the current administration's recklessness and ideological bluster. But more important than the long roster of qualifications others here have already cited -- the leadership ability, the profound intellect, the academic and military international honors, decorations and recognitions,---- the stuff the man himself is made of. This is what sets him apart from the crowd. See him speak in person once and you'll understand. He's the real thing. The whole package. And being a Beltway outsider-- his words are from his heart and not a pre packaged sound bite script. Give me my General please --you can have whatever VP you want! Poster: P.S. Comment: If Al Gore were to run, I would like to see him teamed up with General Clark. Barring that, I would love to see a Clark-Warner ticket or a Clark-Feingold ticket. Poster: Ayliena Comment: Wesley Clark is my choice. He embodies leadership, love of country, national security credentials and progressive domestic values. He understands the world we live in, both the opportunities and dangers and would be a president for all Americans. Poster: Charles L. Griffin III, FL Comment: We need a leader with enough experience and qualifications to deal with such issues as the economy, environment, domestic and foreign affairs. A leader who can face the challenges of Iraq, Iran and N Korea as well as fight terrorism while respecting our Constitution and gaining respect back from the rest of the world. The only person for that job is Al Gore. Poster: Kat Forster Comment: AL GORE! He's the only one with enough experience to pull us out of the stinking hole Bush has dropped us into! Besides, he was already elected to the office. Howard Dean for VP! Poster: Marti Pulicchio Comment: I am hoping that retired General Wesley Clark will run and be nominated. He has a commitment to domestic, educational, and tax programs that benefit all Americans (not just stockholders), and understands that it's the middle class that has built this country and will continue to build it if we'll only stop destroying them. He has unrivaled credentials to forge a better foreign policy and restore both America's strength and moral standing in the world. He refuses to sacrifice one for the other. His integrity and honesty are remarkable - he is respected and admired the world over. Mostly, he's a leader who can unite us, who understands that the president serves the country - not his party or the corporations. He loves this country with heart and soul, tempered with a brilliant and practical mind. I say we could use a man who knows the real meaning of Duty, Honor, and Sacrifice in the Whitehouse. I believe that corny as it sounds, one of those rare men still exists - and his name is Wesley Kanne Clark. Poster: Matt Tegtmeier Comment: General Wesley Clark's resume is head and shoulders above ANY potential candidate. I passionately believe that Wes Clark would make an incredible president. Just to hear the man speak you see an intellect not found amoungst the empty suits, you see a passion and truthfulness about him not found in today's polititians. A real person believing in doing the right thing. Poster: A.H. Burt Comment: Al Gore as President and whomever he chooses as V.P. Poster: Buckminster Comment: There is only one choice for President in 2008 with the right credentials for the job, and that is AL GORE. There are a number of good potential running mates (personally I like Richardson or perhaps Obama), but I'd be more than happy with a GORE/MOYERS ticket! Poster: T. M. Stewart Comment: Wesley Clark and Barak Obama would be a terrific team. Along with Clark's other excellent qualifications, there's the practical fact that in the present political climate, and having to clean up the present mess, we could probably get a retired general elected easier than a non-vet. Obama is young, so I think if we put him on the ticket as V.P., we could have the benefit of Obama for eight years as veep and then another eight years as president. Heaven knows we're going to need the best and brightest we've got, and I think it's got to be these two. Poster: TE Ferguson Comment: Barack Obama----not since Bobby has someone spoken with such deep compassion on the issues that confront America. War, poverty, discrimination the same moral issues we faced in 1968. He is fresh and everyone else is tired. “Because I have such strong feelings about what must be done I am obligated to do all that I can.” RFK 1968. It is time for this country to elect as the leader of the free world someone other than a wealthy old white male politician. We’ve had enough of that. No more Texas cowboys. No more John Kerry. No more California Governors. No more John McCain. We’ve had enough of that. Poster: KRW, New Jersey Comment: Al Gore is the most qualified of any of the potential candidates for president. He is the only one with the experience, leadership, wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, and diplomatic skills to lead us back to sanity and a position of respect in the world. Besides, he's already proven once that he can win. Poster: macdermot Comment: Our next President has to be the Honorable Al Gore. He has the experience and knowlege to provide solutions for our country. The people of the world are anxious to see who will represent our country. The world deserves our best remedy. Al Gore: The Voice of the People. Poster: DL Comment: Dennis Kucinich ~ 1st Choice Bill Moyers ~ 2nd Choice Barack Obama ~ 3nd Choice Poster: Nell H. Pryor Comment: General Wesley Clark has it all. In fact, I cannot imagine anyone else as President of the United States. Consequently, if he chooses to run, I will work tirelessly to help him win. Poster: Nell H. Pryor Comment: General Wesley Clark has it all. In fact, I cannot imagine anyone else as President of the United States. Consequently, if he chooses to run, I will work tirelessly to help him win. Poster: David D. Silver Spring, MD Comment: President: Hillary Clinton Barak Obama Ralph Nader Poster: Rod Abbott Comment: I would like to see the Republicans nominate Senator Hagel for President and someone like Olympia Snowe for Vice-president. The Democrats will not nominate Hillary if they want to win, regardless of how good a senator she is. Perhaps a ticket of Edwards and Obama would be interesting. This would give Obama some experience to build on as candidate for President in the future. Poster: Charles F. Wurster Comment: Al Gore is better qualified and has a better philosophy of government than any other candidate. The greatest human problem of this Century is global warming and climate change, and Gore would take real action to alleviate it. Most other candidates either avoid and dance around this subject. Poster: Mike Goodman Comment: The thought of a black President is timely and thrilling and a qualified person is here! Hillary would be okay, I guess, but 28 consecutive years of Clintons and Bushes turns me off. I am 75 years old; I would like to celebrate a minority chief executive in my lifetime. Poster: Gabriel Comment: There are many cases where soldiers were promise with many agreement BUT nothing were delivered. The military institution prevailed dirty scum to the soldiers. It is amazing how a rich country like USA is protected by poor soldiers with the only dream to have an education (college tuition). What a trade, life for education? Is it the right PRICE? Your program NOW is fantastic because you expose real issues and the most important THE TRUTH. Poster: inken Comment: How about GO, Gore/Obama Poster: Sandra Ledesma Comment: I would like to see Hilary Clinton as the presidential candidate and Barack Obama as her running mate. Poster: cynthia wedding Comment: I think Hillary Clinton would be an excellent President but the hate that is out there toward her would surface. I would like to see John Edwards run with Obama! Too good to be true! Poster: J Schrier Comment: The moderate Midwestern team of Evan Bayh and Tom Vilsack will not only sweep the Iowa caucus but the national election, as well. Poster: Wm. F. O'Brien Comment: For President: Harry Reid of Nevada for Vice President: Gen. Wesley Clark Clark would make a fine president, while a stint as a VP would be an educational start for the job and prepare him to be one of the gratest Progressive Presidents ever. Poster: Jack Luke Comment: for 2008: President: Al Gore V.P. Gov. Bill Richardson (N.M.) Poster: G.Lybrook Comment: I would like to see VP Al Gore. I quess I die hard, but I believe he would be the best! What a different world it would be if he had not been cheated in 2000. Poster: Betty Jones Comment: I think Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama would be excellent choices for their intellect, concern and general ability. However, I fear neither can get elected. I can only imagine the nasty spin the Republicans would concoct about the. Further, I believe there is prejudice against a woman or an African American president. Poster: Fran Hepburn Comment: Barack Obama is the only peace candidate mentioned to date and would have my vote. It is time for a person who recognizes the value of non-violence and knows that violence only creates more violence. The other candidates seem blind to this fact. Poster: Fred Yontz Comment: My first choice would be Mark Warner, but unfortunately he's taken himself out of the race. While I might find her supportable on other issues, I'd have a hard time voting for Senator Hilary Clinton because of her dogged support of the Iraq invasion and war. In 2000, impressed by the Straight Talk Express, I considered Senator John McCain, but he's gone so wishy-washy sucking up to the extreme right I'm not sure who he really is. So far I've seen nothing to put me off from Senator Barack Obama, though I wonder if he's short on experience. I'd say at this moment Senator John Edwards looks the most inviting. But two years is two eternities... Poster: Comment: Al Gore and Obama Poster: Donna L Johnson Comment: Since this country is embroiled in a horrific war that our current president maintains will continue for years after his regime has ended, the logical candidates for President and Vice President in 2008 should be Wesley Clark and John Murtha. With military backgrounds in the White House, we can possibly extricate this country from a war that should never been started! Poster: Peter Mickelsen Comment: I fear that from either side we will get one more seasoned political hack. The campaign with follow with a series of often repeated one liners. Poster: R.Norton Comment: Al Gore, first; Joe Biden, second; senator from Nebraska, third Poster: gerald cohen Comment: My choice is Barak Obamba. My reasons are that I believe that he is the most rational and least divisive of all the well-known candidates. Although he may not be accepted in certain regions, I believe that race relations have improved enough to elect a black president. It would do wonders for our image throughout the world, which is very important in attempting to stop terrorism. Poster: Comment: Barrack Obama, Pres., and Nancy Pelosi, Vice Pres. Poster: Lou PULS Comment: This week I would like to see the 2008 ticket to be: Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi Poster: dave Comment: Pres--Barak Obama Vice- Gen Wesley Clark Poster: Lenore DeLoughery Comment: I would like to see John Edwards run for president and Barak Obama for vice-president. John Edwards has retained his vigor, his committment to the underog, to the poor and to the large issues of social justice in this country. He has stayed true to his values after being in the Senate. Barak Obama is the face of the future, as he says himself, he is not tied to the ideologies of the '60's (boomers). I think he is a very practical problem solver I see both men as pragmatic visionaries. I cannot support Hillary Clinton. She seems to be all head and little heart. Perhaps she just wants to be president too much that she comes across as calculating and cold. She seems to be a good senator but does not inspire. Poster: Marjorie Sunderman Comment: I would vote for Hilary Clinton for President, and Barak Obama (sp) for vice president. Then he could be president next after gaining more experience. I do fear for Hilary because there is so much prejudice against women. It would be a draw who would hurt her the most, other women who have only known contempt and competition for the available men from other women, or redneck men who have only had women to look down on and grew up believing they were entitled to a free maid when they were grown. Poster: Noel Schutz Comment: In this day there is only one American who offers all the necessary credentials as our next president. A man of all seasons who is a soldier, scholar and statesman with executive experience at all levels who can lead our nation to peace and help it be all that it is destined to be. That man is General Wesley K. Clark. He is southern (Arkansas), non-beltway but familiar with the ways of DC and has the ears of the leaders of the nation; he has the national security credibility, the domestic agenda priortities (read his position papers), and the leadership qualities America so desperately needs. Poster: Ashlie Bowles Comment: A women to be president. Poster: Lisa O Comment: Clinton/Obama Poster: publius2 Comment: I don't want to hear a word about the 2008 presidential election until at least June 2007. Poster: Comment: Barak Obama Poster: Scott Maras Comment: For President: Wesley Clark, Former NATO Allied Supreme Commander. He's a proven leader who is extremely intelligent, won the war in Kosovo, and ran hospitals and schools for tens of thousands of kids and families in his European command. He's known and trusted by world leaders and is a man of impeccable integrity. Poster: jill Comment: Clinton/Obama Poster: Jerry b Comment: While I would like to see Clinton in that slot again, it seems that too many folks do not think that a gal type can possibly with the white House yet so ... I will pick Edwards for Pres and let Hillary take care of the Vice. A little humor there, but those choices are well founded in a reason to deliver that I chink can constitute a winning ticket! Poster: SS EDWARDS Comment: John Edwards and Barak Obama Poster: Rhett Comment: For president Gulliani and vice president Colin Powell Poster: June Swan Comment: Clinton for Pres & Obama for vice Poster: R.L. Berry Comment: Hilary Clinton, President and Birch Bayh, Vice President. Barack Obama needs more experience. No more learning on the job in the midst of a war on terror. Poster: Shock Comment: Al Gore/Hillary Clinton Poster: Peter S. Comment: On the Dem side, John Edwards and Bill Richardson, respectively. For the GOP, Chuck Hagel and Chris Shays (again Pres & VP). Poster: Phil F. Comment: I would like to see Condoleezza Rice run. She is smart, talented, experienced in foreign affairs and best of all a Republican! Poster: disqusted in Florida Comment: I would like to see Senator Hilliary Clinton, and Senator Barack Obama Poster: Carolyn W Walker Comment: I am a Democrat but I still say ABHC! (Anybody but Hilary Clinton) I do not like the Clintonian style of sucking up to power (rather than speaking truth to it) I dislike her attitude about war, energy and the environment. Why do the Democrats STILL not talk about eradication of poverty? Poster: Jeff Shipman Comment: I always thought John Edwards was the right candidate for President last time. I hope he runs again. He's the kind of candidate who can truly bring Christian ideals back to the position. Not sure about Vice President, but perhaps Barak Obama would be an energizing factor who'd benefit from learning the ropes of the executive branch as VP for an eventual run for the top job. Poster: Carol Comment: General Wes Clark would be an ideal president for these times. The depth of his knowledge and his significant administrative experience in foreign policy and national security are unmatched by any other candidate. He's already well-known and much respected among the leaders of many countries and would be far ahead in the ability to re-establish broken international relationships. His skills in diplomacy will not only be valuable internationally, but also in working with Americans across party lines. In addition, he comes from humble Southern roots and identifies with the struggles of working families. With his graduate education in Economics from Oxford University, he has the knowledge and experience to implement sound domestic policy to help support our sagging middle class. He has a gift for teaching, and sound ideas about education. He also has a strong knowledge base in science, with a keen understanding of global environmental issues. Not only that, he's extremely personable and charismatic, having generated tremendous excitement in campaign work for 2006 candidates. Especially notable were speeches at the 2004 National Democratic Convention, the 2006 Texas Democratic Convention, a recent speech at the University of Alabama, and recent Democratic party events in New Hampshire and California. He's aware of mistakes made in his 2004 campaign and, being an extraordinarily quick study, has learned from them and will be able to mount a much stronger effort for 2008. General Clark is someone I could vote FOR with enthusiasm, rather than merely voting against an opponent. Poster: Catherine Honer Comment: I would like to see John Edwards amd John Mc Cain in the line up. Poster: CeCe Williams Comment: I would like to see Senator Hillary Clinton as president in '08. Whomever she selects would be fine with me. Poster: CeCe Williams Comment: I would like Hillary Clinton as president in '08. Whomever she chooses will probably someone I would want also. Poster: Doug Comment: President: Katrina Vanden Heuvel Vice President: Ralph Nader Independent voices that will strive for nonviolence and peace. Solidary brothers and sisters. Poster: Jack Comment: I hope that Al Gore runs again (and avoids the 'earthtone' confusion of 2000). He has shown courage on the war in Iraq, insight on terror, and leadership on Global Warming. Poster: Howard Park Comment: Wesley Clark...because he has the defense, management & forgign policy skills that America, and especially the Democratic party, needs now more than ever in a globalized world. Poster: Marcia Comment: My dream team for 2008 would be Al Gore and Barack Obama. One cares passionately about the evironment, the other about the condition of all mankind. It doesn't get any better then that! Marcia Booker Mobile, Alabama Poster: Nancy J.M. White Comment: Hands down: Gore/Obama ticket! Gore's message of looking at the world through the global warming issue is prime. It would help heal the relationships that the US has with the world, and become a leader again with all peoples . It's an issue that needs immediate attention, and allows the US to get out of the WAR business and into sustainability everywhere. Poster: Maria Wells Comment: Wesley Clark is the President my mother always promised me. Poster: Martisa Vignali Comment: I am only interested in General Wes Clark for President. Poster: Karen Hittinger Comment: I would like to see Wesley Clark nominated by the Democrats, for President in 2008. First of all, he is a man of high moral and ethical character. He has the experience and knowledge to lead this nation forward after the missteps of the current administration have sullied our reputation throughout the world. Without going further into specifics, his resume reaches far beyond his 34 year career in the military. I suggest visiting www.securingamerica.com to find out more about this amazing man. Poster: Dormaphaea Comment: Wes Clark for President. I have no thoughts on the VP slot - needless to say I'd trust that Clark would make the best decision on that. Poster: Annie Washington Comment: I would really like to see Dennis Kucinich as president, he really seems to care about the country, the people and our future. More mainstream and perhaps a more practical as opposed to ideological choice, I would like to see Hillary R. Clinton as president and Barak Obama as vice president. Poster: Christina Comment: Al Gore! Al Gore! Al Gore!, He would be the best candidate, the most electable Democrat, most experience etc! Better late than never! The US needs him, and most importantly the planet needs him. Poster: J.Mora Comment: Gen. Wesley Clark/Obama (V.P). That sounds like a winning ticket. Poster: Vonalee Comment: Wesley K. Clark for President. Feingold for Vice-President Poster: Greg Frezados Comment: Americans are finally becoming more honest with themselves, and we are ready for representatives of more substance and truth, than hype and soundbites: AL GORE for President; BARACK OBAMA for Vice Pesident. Poster: Don Johnson Comment: Wesley Clark, no doubt, is the most supremely qualified candidate to EVER run for president. He has been a tireless worker for the Deocratic party has certainly has more than enough experience, charisma, intellect, compassion, strategic planning ability, and good old common sense to become one of our greatest president. With the problems facing this country in the next few years, he is the only candidate that even comes close having the ability to solve them. Whoever he choses for VP is OK with me. Poster: Lisa Comment: Wesley Clark/Barack Obama Poster: Lisa Montague Comment: I'd like to see Wesley Clark nominated for president. We need all his expertise in the area of foreign policy, diplomacy and military strategy for starters. He also has a good background in economics. With our huge debt and deficit, we need someone who understands how to squeeze a nickel and make a budget we can afford. Wes is also a great listener and humanitarian. He really cares about what happens to the people and the state of our planet. He's simply brilliant. We couldn't ask for a better president for the time we live in now. For Vice President, I'd like to see Harry Reid. He's proven to be effective in battling in the senate as the minority leader. He's very savvy in the ways of the netroots. He's not a pushover. He understand the senate as well as Lyndon Johnson did and makes sense to select for VP for all the same reasons Kennedy selected Johnson to run as his VP. Reid comes from a red state and has pretty conservative values. Nevada will be one of the first to vote in the next primary season as well. Reid backed Clark in his run for president in 2004. They have a very good and warm relationship. What a refreshing change after Bush/Cheney. Poster: E. Scott Comment: I would like to see General Wesley Clark nominated for President. He has all of the outstanding leadership qualities needed in today's world. Aside from his obviously unparalleled foreign policy experience, he also has innovative domestic policy ideas, as well. He has a Master's Degree in Economics and served in the White House in the OMB. He is the consummate diplomat and understands that the military should be used only as a last resort. He is widely respected around the world, and America needs a man like him to restore our credibility as a great and moral nation. He gives me hope and makes me feel less afraid about the future of America and its standing in the world community. People should get to know Wes Clark. He would be an outstanding President. Poster: Sandy Garcia Comment: Wesley Clark for President--He is the complete package, a statesman, scholar and soldier--a true visionary and strategic thinker of the highest intellect (see his 100 year plan), a true hero and natural leader, a man of strong convictions, superior diplmatic and military credentials and experience, and complete dedication to serving his country . A man made for these times. Poster: Betty Greaves Comment: NONE OF THE ABOVE. Poster: Marti Pulicicchio Comment: Wesley Clark for president, Russ Feingold for vice president. Poster: PBS Fan Comment: Wesley Clark Poster: Barry Kolb Comment: For the Democratic nomination I would like to see it go to Wesley Clark. Clark is an experienced man of vision who can lead this nation out of the current mess. Poster: Ronald Comment: Democrats President Al Gore Vice President Tom Harkin Republicans President Colin Powell Vice President John Danforth The world needs our most famous environmentalist at the helm. Gore's election would also be a belated correction of the 2000 fiasco. If Republicans win, then it ought to be with the only candidate possessing the stature and understanding to clean up GWB's wrecked foreign and national security policies. Seasoned, sensible, and dedicated middle Americans as number twos. Poster: Jen DiFeo Comment: General Wes Clark for President and whomever he chooses for VP. I have never in my life been so inspired and motivated by anyone. Our country desperately needs General Clark and what's sad is the Corporate Press will continue to ignore him and feed us more of the same. If anyone had told me 4 years ago I would be supporting a General, I'd have laughed in their face. This is a man who has spent his life serving our country and puts country before party with every breath. Poster: RCBev Comment: Wesley Clark -- he has tons of foreign policy experience and retired military to boot. Even republicians will love him. Poster: MD Comment: Edwards and Obama -- the people's choice Poster: jeffrey sainio Comment: D Clark and R Giuliani. Both centrist, both practical, neither exciting to their parties. We've had enough excitement, time for some competance. Poster: Judy Comment: Wes Clark is my candidate. He is experienced in diplomacy, national security, and military issues. He is also vey progressive on domestic issues like health care and education, and he stands up for civil rights. Poster: Carol Kilyanek Comment: I would love to see Retired General Wesley Clark with the Democratic nomination and then the Presidency. He's an incredibly smart man with a wealth of experience directly related to the position of the Presidency. I think he would be an amazing President and quickly win back a lot of the prestige this country has lost in the eyes of the world. Poster: JP Comment: Wes Clark--articulate, knowledgeable, experienced in leading troops into battle, thoughtful and insightful on framing domestic issues (environment, etc) as national security issues. Formidable candidate if he could get some attention away from Hillary and Obama!! Poster: Ellen G Comment: I would like to see General Wesley Clark as the Democratic nominee for President. I would not like to see him 'nominated' for Vice President, because of his enormous leadership skills. Poster: Gracie Dumeny Comment: I feel that General Wesley CLARK OF Arkansas is the most qualified to be our next president. We need someone like him with hs military background to get us out of the mess in Iraq. That is not th nl;;y reson he should be president, there are too many reasons to name here. Poster: Kathy Blackwelder Comment: Retired General Wesley Clark is the person we were promised for President as kids. His international diplomatic credentials are superb (knighted in the UK, honored by many other countries), his military acumen outstanding (4 stars, head of NATO), his economic understanding excellent (Masters Degree, taught the subject), his administrative skills proven (responsible for everything from pot holes to schools to tanks on the bases he commanded), his intellect incredible (first in his class at West Point, Rhodes scholar), his character and personal courage without peer (too little space for all the examples). He is the solution to what ails this country. Poster: Phyto Alford Comment: What this country needs desperately is hope. Hope is spelled Obama. Personally, I like Sen. Clinton, but I doubt she is electable. Obama, recent revelations aside, reminds us of the kind of hope we saw in John Kennedy. We know in our hearts that we are better than the current administration and we need someone like Sem. Obama who represents our better selves. Poster: Al Moore Comment: My wife and I will be voting for Barack Obama as we feel his words express our feelings. He is also a very intelligent young person - the type of legislator our country needs many of! And we are in our 60's! Poster: tim Comment: I'd like to see a non politician like David Walker the Comptroller General run for President. But since he won't another favorite is John Edwards. All those others who are presently lining up I have no interest in especially the extreme right wing nuts like Mitt Romney. Poster: George B. Hutchinson, Newport, OR Comment: A candidate for President I'd like to see: Bill Moyers. Failing that: Jim Hightower, or Molly Ivans, or Winona LaDuke. Gov. Bill Richardson seems like a decent sort. Dennis Kucinich and his Department of Peace would be good, too. And then I also like Cynthia McKinney. |
