Comment: I find it interesting that the Clintons continue to criticize Barack Obama for being too young. I think John F Kennedy was 43 when he became our President in 1960. Isn't Barack Obama 46 years old. He also seems like a breath of fresh air for this Democrat. He is honest and has integrity that seems missing in the Clinton Household. I feel his message of Hope and Change are indicative of his dedication to the people of this great country. Support Obama for America. He deserves a chance to improve the lives of the American people. Obama reminds me of JFK He is intelligent and thnks before he acts. He supports the working people of this country and will have a group of advisors around him that will help him deal with the policies and problems facing our nation.

Comment: The Progressive movement both inside and outside of the Democratic Party is far beyond the scope of these fine article, videos and comments. It is powered by the micro-media and we are in fact reshaping the Democratic Party. All of that will go unnoticed by the macro-media and that's the way we like it. Underground in the Party and now in leading positions we are transformationally changing politics in America. I have corresponded with Matt Bai about this often. Join us.

Comment: I think that the music you have at the beginning of your TV show is SO great. Great choice and a wonderful musician too. Oh yes, your show is also close to perfect.

Comment: Watching your story on the so-called rise of the progressive wing of the Democratic party last night, I wondered why no mention was made of Dennis Kucinich. For many of us, it's just not enough to say that the mainstream candidates are co-opting progressive speech. The examples you gave on the show were hardly compelling. If progressives were really making strides in the Democratic party, we would have been able to leverage ABC to include Kucinich in the pre-New Hampshire primary debate. But we couldn't - does that mean that we pretend it didn't happen? NOW needed to tell THAT story - the fact that progressives are locked out by the Democratic party machine and their corporate media cronies - not celebrate the few crumbs thrown our way by those who supposedly speak for us.

Comment: As a long-time fan of NOW, I generally feel you do a great job, with the limited time you have, of covering important issues from a liberal perspective in an even-handed manner. I was very sad when NOW was cut and Bill Moyers left, but feel that you’ve continued to do a good job despite considerable restraints. However, I was very disappointed with the way this week’s NOW covered the push by left wing progressives to try and reform the Democratic Party. By portraying Lieberman and Wynn as victims of a left wing conspiracy I think you do progressives a disservice. You innately imply that the status quo is just fine and any people who want things to be different, while still remaining Democrats, are part of a “dirty tricks” campaign. Perhaps you were trying to be provocative or play “devil’s advocate”? I am a 60 year old female and long-time Democrat who happens to think that in many ways the Democratic party has strayed too far towards not just the center, but the right. I do not read or follow any of the blogs or internet sites mentioned in your program, but I found your stance both partisan and offensive in a way that I’ve never encountered with your program before. I, like many people in this country, do want politicians to work together for the common good more than they presently appear to do, but I also want them to listen to their constituents, and not be swayed by powerful business and special interest groups with disproportionate and non-democratic influence.

Comment: Thank you for having Captain Dan Kipnis on this evening. He has given me a push to write the candidates telling them that change by 2050 on global warming is way too late. I wiull also write the news organizations and tell them of the pole that says reporters are not asking enough questions about global wraming when talking to candidates. I watch your show regularly. Cheers!
