Pro-life and pro-choice: Catholics in the middle
Many people do not think of Catholic and pro-choice as belonging in the same sentence let alone the same church. But don’t tell that to Frances Kissling, head of Catholics for a Free Choice.
The group is one of several religious organizations in America that support a woman’s right to choose.
In the wake of South Dakota’s new abortion law, Kissling sat down with NOW’s senior correspondent Maria Hinojosa to talk about one of the most polarizing issues in American culture.
"I often think that it’s those who say they are pro-life that are often more pro-abortion than anyone else," Kissling told Hinojosa.
