Mary Kay Culp of Kansans for Life talks with David Brancaccio about the prospect of Samuel Alito's appointment to the Supreme Court. Mary Kay Culp last appeared on NOW in a story about Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline's subpoena of medical records of abortion patients.

Named one of the top 150 most influential people in Kansas City by the KANSAS CITY STAR, Mary Kay Culp has held various volunteer and leadership positions within the Missouri and Kansas affiliates of the National Right to Life Committee. From 1978-1987 she served as the head of the public relations committee for Missouri Right to Life. In 1987 she became the executive director of Missouri Right to Life, Western Region and from 1994-1997 she was the president of Missouri Right to Life. Mary Kay also served as the Associate Director of Education for the Kansas Catholic Conference from 1997-2000 before she became the executive director of Kansans for Life, a position she has held since 2000.
