Bridget Gough
Deckhand - Canary Islands
Home - Tauranga, New Zealand
Bridget has always had a love for animals. From a young age she trained and competed with horses in Grand Prix Showjumping. Two and a half years ago she left the horses of New Zealand behind to travel and work her way around Europe and Asia.
She worked as a PADI divemaster on a Ôswim with the dolphinsÕ program based out of Tauranga supervising and educating passengers on the local wildlife. In addition she was an photographic assistant to Andy Belcher an underwater and adventure photographer in New Zealand.
In the near future, she wishes to study animal psychology and Orcas in Antartica. She came aboard the Odyssey to learn and absorb as much as possible about marine mammals and wildlife photography.
