Sara Earhart

Sara is a recent graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC), acquiring degrees in Environmental Studies (focusing on ecology and natural history) and History. While attending UCSC, Sara took part in field courses that taught her fundamentals of field research. She also worked in the University of California at Santa Cruz Natural History Museum, assisting in the classification and organization of insects and mammal specimens. For the last few summers, Sara worked as research assistant to Dr. Denise Herzing assisting in a long term behavioral and DNA study on Atlantic Spotted Dolphins.
Sara joins the Odyssey crew to assist in the environmental education program. She looks forward to lending her strengths to the Odyssey team and gaining knowledge of fieldwork, oceanography, marine biology, and sailing.
