Eduardo teaches history at Arizona State University, where he got his undergraduate degree. Eduardo has quite the scholarly background. He got his doctorate at Princeton. Universities across the country invite him to lecture on such topics as American intellectual history, race and society in the 20th century, and the Borderland of the American Southwest.
Eduardo loves History Detectives because it celebrates the discovery process, which is what he likes most about studying history. Eduardo even refers to History Detectives in his lectures. So he was thrilled when producers invited him to guest host.
Eduardo takes on three investigations this season: one into the weaver of a Navajo Rug, another into a portrait sketched in a World War II German POW camp, and the third investigation of a watch fob commemorating Pancho Villa's raid on Columbus, New Mexico. That third investigation took on a personal twist: Eduardo's grandfather rode with Pancho Villa.
