Cooking is either a pleasure or a chore, depending upon one’s free time or temperament. Screenwriter and director Nora Ephron once said, “What my mother believed about cooking is that if you worked hard and prospered, someone else would do it for you.” Would she feel differently if she had some interesting kitchen gadgets to make cooking more fun?
