Tod Murphy has a radical dream: diners across the country that serve burgers, eggs, sausage and hash browns. What’s new about that? Most of the food served at his Farmers Diner, in Barre, Vermont, was raised within 75 miles, and that’s an old idea that’s revolutionary in the 21st century.
