If they are sports fans find facts about sports teams for each state, or if they are into history, go with that! Just have fun learning about all 50 states.

What You Will Need

50 states jar learning activity

  • fun facts (Find great ones here and here.)
  • a jar
  • items to decorate the jar (washi tape, ribbons, markers)
  • scissors

How To Set It Up

  • Decorate the jar.
  • Write and cut the facts out and fold.
  • Pop them in the jar and get ready to learn.

How To Play

I like using fact jars at meals. Each family member can pull out a fact and see if they can stump the rest of the family with their fact. There really isn’t a wrong way to use this though, just have FUN!
