Improvisation

Ribbons

What You'll Need:

  • Any object that can be easily passed around a circle

How to Play:

  1. This activity begins with a single prop, just like Storypeople adventures. Provide the group with a small prop such as a ribbon.
  2. Tell the children that everyone will be handed the prop and required to come up with a different explanation for what it is. For example, the ribbon could be for someone's hair, a clown's shoelace, a necklace for a medal, or a stripe from the middle of the road in an imaginary world — the more creative, the better.
