Talk, Listen, Connect, Sesame Workshop's groundbreaking military families initiative, provides support and resources for families experiencing deployment, multiple deployments or changes that occur when a parent returns home with a combat-related injury. Talk, Listen, Connect's critical outreach materials include DVD kits for children and parents; a free, traveling Sesame Street/USO tour; Sesame Rooms, a project bringing toys and furniture to military spaces; and the soon-to-come third phase of Talk, Listen, Connect to address coping with the death of a loved one.
