Field Guide

The Field Guide is a visual/audio glossary of dinosaurs. It's modeled after a kid's "sound book" with pressable sound effects. It teaches the correct pronunciation of each dinosaur's name, what it ate, what time period it lived in, how big it is, and several interesting facts about each. Kids can print collectible trading cards to share their dinosaur knowledge with friends!

Pteranodon Fishing

Like the episode "Tiny Loves Fish," Tiny and Buddy work together to catch fish. But here, they're using Mr. Pteranodon's method – spot, dive, and scoop! Buddy uses his sharp eyes to spot fish from above, and Tiny scoops them up with her beak. This game demonstrates the anatomy of Pteranodon fishing and the value of teamwork.

Hungry Hungry Herbivore

It's Tank's favorite time of day -- lunchtime! The player steers Tank the Triceratops towards delicious shrubs. At the same time, the player has to steer clear of oncoming Triceratops. On occasion a predator appears. This prompts Tank's mom to call him to the herd. The screen will switch views, and the player must lead Tank toward the herd safely.

How Big Are You?

In this game, kids try to estimate the length of various dinosaurs using modern animals as non-standard units of measurement. It shows that dinosaurs were different sizes and had different names, that large objects can be measured with non-standard objects, that a hypothesis can be tested by measuring, and that measuring with non-standard objects requires counting.
