Materials:

round coffee filters

• watercolors
• paint brushes and/or droppers

• ribbon
• glue stick

Instructions

1. Paint coffee filters with watercolor paints. You can use paint brushes for this step or paint droppers, depending on what your kids like and the effect you’d like to create. Liquid watercolors work especially well, but you can also use watercolor paints from the traditional cakes or from tubes.
2. Let dry.
3. Fold the coffee filters in half, creasing the edge.
4. Arrange the coffee filters along a ribbon or string and glue the two sides of the coffee filters together.
5. Display and enjoy!
