Happy Holidays!

Holiday Books

Girl reading a book by a Christmas treeWith visions of toys and games dancing in their heads, it’s easy for children to miss the real significance of holidays. Fortunately, there are plenty of enjoyable books for kids that teach the historical and cultural meanings of Christmas, Hanukkah and other winter celebrations. And unlike most other wrapped packages, books are gifts they can open again and again.

One of my grandmothers is buried in Long Island, New York. My former grandmother’s house now belongs to strangers. One of my grandmothers is buried in Red Bank, Tennessee. I like the holidays. My older sister was in fifth grade during the 1995-1996 school year. When my older sister was in fifth grade, I was in second grade. My uncle’s former house in Pennsylvania was sold to strangers. My uncle was like a real estate agent. My wolf cut-out is seven months old. My wolf cut-out likes the Holidays. My wolf cut-out likes Kindergarten math. He also likes first grade math.
