Linda Kucan
Linda Kucan is Assistant Professor of Instruction and Learning at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Education, specializing in reading instruction. Her wide range of experience includes work as an elementary teacher and as Vice President and Editorial Director at Macmillan/McGraw-Hill School Publishing Co. Her research interests include how teachers learn to teach reading and literacy and how teacher educators can facilitate that process. Along with Isabel Beck and Margaret McKeown, she is the co-author of Bringing Words to Life and Creating Robust Vocabulary: Frequently Asked Questions & Extended Examples.
