Site Tour
Martha is here to help kids learn lots of new words as they play.
Each game on our site introduces a whole bunch of new words. The more kids play, the more words they'll hear. Play along with them if you can, or talk to them about the games later so they have a chance to practice the new words they've learned.
Before you know it, your kids might come to a consensus about which game is their favorite - especially if the weather forecast is for precipitation.

Catch!
It's flying disk time for Martha, Skits, Helen and TD. Martha will ask a question and TD and Helen will offer answers. Kids win a disk when they choose the correct answer; after they win three disks, they get to play catch with Skits! There are some unusual words in here - like ancestor, blaring, and bizarre. Winning these disks will help win word power for your kids!
-
Crazy Vehicle
Martha has to deliver packages in her crazy vehicle. By using the remote control, kids transform the vehicle into a car, boat, or helicopter! Depending on the terrain, players control the vehicle's form as well as accelerate and brake. Kids take an active role in performing the vocab words during both training and challenge levels. See how fast you can transform that crazy vehicle!
-
Dogs on Ice
It's time for the ice skating show and the dogs have gathered at the rink to perform their routines. Coach Martha gives instructions involving vocabulary words such as around, careful, and klutzy. Then kids choose the dogs that can glide and leap across the ice. After practicing, the pups put it to music and perform the final routine!

Dog Tags
Customize cuddly or wacky photos or adorable animals! Kids upload a picture of their own pet or choose from an existing selection of dogs. Using fun props and frames, kids decorate their pets and then tag them with words like miniature, peculiar, and nimble. Kids can even submit their creations to Martha's featured pet gallery!
-
Funny Photos
This silly what's-wrong-with-this-picture game introduces kids to words that are related by theme. They'll hear camping words, swimming pool words and words about farms. These words are slipped into Martha's jabbering - so help your kids listen for words like agriculture or sweltering as they play.
-
Make the Band
Calling all budding musicians! In this game players put together a band made up of kids and dogs. Use the control panel to choose instruments for the melody and rhythm, as well as vocalists. Then adjust the tempo and make your own recording! Kids will become familiar with words that describe music while creating their own composition!
-
Martha's Rhyme Time
With this handy-dandy poetry gizmo kids can create rhyming couplets for Martha to perform. Building each from six different sets of words, there are - mathematically speaking - a bazillion combinations to create. Kids can also customize the performance stage and create a printed version to color and stick to the fridge. And, of course, with Martha being Martha, she'll introduce and explain many new vocabulary words along the way.
-
Martha's Scrapbook
Help Martha create her scrapbook! Players match words to pictures of her friends, and watch a video clip when they've matched three correctly. Pictures and video clips reinforce word meaning, and of course, Martha helps out as well. From cheerful dogs to scheming cats, players will love reliving Martha's memories!
-
Marthur Stickerbook Mashup
For the first time ever, kids can play with characters from two of their favorite shows: Martha Speaks and ARTHUR! In this game, kids choose backgrounds, props, and characters from the Martha Speaks and ARTHUR series to create a digital sticker mashup that they can save and print. Kids can resize and rotate stickers to create one-of-a-kind scenes that show what happens when Martha meets Arthur!
-
Pup Pals
It's time to pal around with playful pups from the show! Kids choose a dog to "adopt" and then play with them, feed them, and watch their tricks. Martha hosts, offering insight into each pup's personality. Kids choose from Skits, Francois, Pops and Courageous Collie Carlo. When playtime is over, the adopted pal will live at the top of the screen, keeping kids company as they play games and watch videos. Listen for words like personality, expert, outfit and ingest.
-
Radio Martha
What do you give the talking dog that has everything? A radio show! In this game, kids listen in to Radio Martha and find pictures that help illustrate her stories. With themes like Halloween and a traffic jam caused by hot dogs, there's a whole range of new words to play with. Listen for words like spooky, drizzle, and soothing.
-
Scrub-A-Pup
Ever seen those vans that go house-to-house, pampering lucky pooches? Well, we have one right here. Kids will turn the muckiest dogs in town to the cutest hounds around as they spray, shower, and spritz away. They even get to reward good dogs with silly treats at the end. If you've never seen a poodle in a top hat, now is your chance.
-
Skits Cooks
What do dogs dream about? Taking over the pizza parlor, of course! Join Skits and Burt as they prepare pizzas for all their pals - Professor Monkey, Baby Jake and others. Kids will help Skits sift flour, pour water and shake in yeast to make a delicious dough. And since this is Skits's wacky dream, pizza toppings include bananas, birthday cake, steak, even animal crackers! Listen for baking words like recipe, ingredients, combine, and irresistible!
-
Skits's Tricks
Come on down to the park for some dog training fun. Here's a game where kids will teach Martha's pal Skits new tricks. Using a treat, they'll lead Skits around, helping him retrieve a ball, climb a ramp, guard a steak and more.
-
Socks in Space
Martha and T.D. are in space on a mission to find T.D.'s lost socks, which may have been stolen by alien creatures! Help navigate through the solar system as Martha floats among the stars. Make sure she collects the socks and avoids asteroids and space cats launching flying furballs! While playing this game, kids will come in contact with space-related words that will improve their extraterrestrial vocabulary.
-
Switcheroo
This card game of mixed up pieces introduces words like swap, switch and mix. Can your kids put these costumed kids back together? Or make sure the licky ends of these dogs match the waggy ends? Keep playing and you'll find the game gets pretty tricky!
-
Truman's Word Play
Truman sets the stage for the rest of the Martha crew to put on a terrific show! Kids actively participate in the production by first selecting a word on the stage and then providing the action for three different uses of that word. Kids actively learn the vocabulary as they mimic a dance, vanish a bowl of soup, balance a sombrero by catapulting pineapples, and more!
