Episode 303: SkyGirls

Virginia SciGirls Emma, Lauren and Madison have the ultimate “stratus update!” Teaming up with NASA scientists, they identify clouds from the ground and compare their data with satellite images, ultimately creating a “mostly cloudy” museum display.

Learning Goals: Understand that the Earth’s atmosphere is made up of layers and that the lowest of the layers is where all the clouds reside. Learn that there are many different types of clouds that have different forms. Understand that satellites observe the Earth to get a better understanding of what’s happening.

Episode 303: Cielito Lindo
