  • Summer Reading Chart

PBS KIDS Summer Reading Chart (PDF)

Your child can chart their own reading adventures with this reading chart. Have them log each book they read and talk with them about their experiences. What did they like about the books they read? Which characters were their favorites, and why? Would they recommend the books to others?

  • My Super Summer Checklist

PBS KIDS Super Summer Checklist (PDF)

Plan for a summer full of fun and learning with our Super Summer Checklist. Use hands-on experiences like hiking, building a fort, or making a sandwich to build skills like math (How many steps to the end of the path?), science (What can you see in this tree?), and language (What words describe your sandwich?). Don't forget to add your own plans to the list. Then, share them with PBS via Instagram or email. We can't wait to see what you're up to!

  • Summer Reading Adventures Booklet

PBS KIDS Summer Adventures Activity Booklet (PDF)

Summer learning is just around the corner with the activities in this book. You'll find activities like a neighborhood scavenger hunt, a weather tracker, a moon journal and more. Get inspired and see how much learning you can find down the street and around the corner this summer.

  • Going on a Book-nic

    Going On A Book-Nic (PDF)

A "Book-Nic" is a picnic with books and a great way to weave reading into a morning or afternoon outdoors. This downloadable has tips and activities to help you make the most of your time in the sun.
