You're going to name the baby 'Only the mortgage'? That's just silly.

I agree with Snapping Turtle, particularly if you are going to breastfeed. (Ouch!)

My cousin loves construction equipment, so lobbied to name his brother "backhoe". I dont think we're going to solicit our toddler's input on his new sibling's name.

I believe no matter what you name the baby he will end up being: "EthImeanNateOhWhicheverOneYouAre" so maybe you should just start with that!
Ellen writes...
Grayson would work great 'cause if The Baby or New Baby have a lisp, it'll come out "Grathan." He'll still fit in with the Than Bros.

flying squirrel is good - maybe you could give birth in the woods 8-)

Oh gosh, I think you should totally let E pick out the name. Maybe then he and Nathan wont plot a way to get you to go insane one day and accidentally put the baby in the fridge or something.
Manic Mommy writes...
Nathan isn't saying 'cheese' he's telling you to name the baby Cheese, like from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Although Flying Squirrel is a nice name too. You could call him Supa Fly for short.

CHEESE!!! And then maybe the baby can hook up with Apple. I LOVE cheese & apples. Yumm...Happy Halloween!

I like Mason Grayson but only if they are together. If not, I think Cheese wins - but only if the middle name is Crackers...or flying squirrel because that really can go with anything.

Ethan. Nathan. Grayson/Mason. Why not just simplify things? If you put the emphasis on the last sound of all those names, you could have the N brothers: N-1, N-2, and little baby N-3!

Grayson has a nice ring to it, but Cheese would be totally awesome. I love cheese. Cheese is good.

Huge fan of Grayson!
Flying Squirrel is pretty unique! He's got that one right!

I guess since it's a boy, you ruled out promising to name her Wendy?? I think you should go with the cheeze theme and pick your favorite... like Munster, or Gouda. Wes' mom tells the story of how he wanted to name his brother "Pickles"...lucky for you, we're not helping, since my girl dog is named "Bob" you might want to ask someone else.

Hammond Cheese. Get it? You get your name and Ethan gets Cheese! Have you thought of Barack? That may be a very popular name next year!

Why can't the baby name himself? Foster that independence early is what I say. So wait until he utters his first word and then name him that.
Had I done that, my first son's name would be "Gus" which is also the name of our friend's beloved Cocker Spaniel our son was absolutely obsessed with.

When my son was in preschool, instead of a blanket for nap time, I sent a little soft rug. They had a lesson on Indian names, and his became "Boy with a Rug." So, Flying Squirrel sounds good to me!! :)

Oh my goodness! Why didn't I think of this sooner? In keeping with the Lewis and Clark idea .. how about Jean Baptiste LePage or perhaps Toussaint Charbonneau. Just thinkin' outside the box.

These kids are soooooooooo cute!!! Ian is still my choice!
Maybe you should go with Flying Squirrel because you named your first two very "normal" names and actually got Flying-Squirrelish children. Perhaps if you just go with Flying Squirrel as a name, this one might be calmer. Use reverse psychology on this baby from day one!
Or just go with Grayson/Greyson cause' that's adorable. Plus Grey is a really cute nickname too.

My son is named Grayson so I'm enjoying how many people are voting for that name!
It's probably a quirk specific to my child, but at age 2.5 when he says his name it comes out "Granny."
Husband and I laugh every. single. time.
I don't know, Nathan seems pretty insistent that you name the baby "No." Very James Bond!
I absolutely love unique names, but flying squirrel is out there! lol
