Supersister question of the day: Alright, Mother's Day is right around the corner. Tell us your dream day, beginning to end. Then leave this post up on the computer screen for several days for all partners, husbands and children to find. No seriously, let us know in the comments.

These days I don't care what happens during the daytime, it's sleep I need. So getting up with the baby and letting me rest for an extra hour or two would make my day.

My dream Mother's Day would be for my husband to remember that it's Mother's Day & HELP A SISTAH OUT. Sorry. It's a touchy subject for me!

I want to wake up to breakfast (& my babies) in bed. A breakfast that I did not have to make, nor would I have to clean up.

Having the children ready for church without my involvement (except for hair, I'll handle the hair & save them the embarrasment!) Having my husband willingly go with us without my having to smack him in the head with a cattle prod.

Taking the girls to the park for a picnic lunch of McDonald's & milkshakes.

Getting home just in time for naps. Taking a 3 hour nap of my own!

Waking up to a gorgeous steak and baked potato dinner ~ which I neither had to cook or clean up after.

Putting the kids to bed & watching a movie in peace and quiet, without sharing my popcorn.

I'm not asking for the world ... just a day of peace and quiet with only one or two toddler tantrums. That's a perfect day in my book!

Sky writes...

The perfect day...waking up to an empty bed (I like having the bed to myself!) with coffee and the paper to follow. I'd receive my gift, which would be a Kindle 2, and be told to read my heart away...all day! I wouldn't mind hearing the sound of the washer and dryer running. You know, I think I'm the only one who knows how to run it in our house! There would be no dishes to wash, no floors to scrub and certainly no toys to pick up! I would love to spend the afternoon having my hair done and getting a pedicure. Then an evening dinner with my husband and kids. They'd behave perfectly...of course.

But who am I kidding? It will be another day, laundry, dishes and cleaning. A mother's work is never done!
