The Thomas & Friends website offers dozens of videos, games and hands-on activities for your little engineers! The online experience extends the fun and adventure from the TV series and provides a safe and exciting place for Thomas fans to engage with their #1 engine friend.
Targeted for children 2-6, the site also serves older and younger children, along with parents looking for creative ideas and activities to help them connect, share and have fun!
Visitors to the site will discover:
- A video player on which children can watch all of their favorite Thomas & Friends videos.
- A games area with brand new exclusive games featuring Thomas, Percy, James and all of your favorite engines!
- An activities area with fun and creative printables children can do alone or with others.
It’s time to hear a story about Thomas and his friends, but the pages are all out of order! After hearing the mixed-up story, your child will help unscramble the pages. When the pages are finally in the right order, a storybook appears and is read to your child. This game allows your child to explore early story structure development by identifying the beginning, middle and ends of a story with their favorite engines. As your child becomes more confident in fixing three-page stories, he or she will be given more advanced stories to help untangle, further developing early literacy skills!
Steam Team Snapshots
Create pictures of Thomas and his friends around the Island of Sodor! In this open-ended activity, your child will explore his creativity by creating special scenes with his favorite engines from all over the Island of Sodor. Your child can finish his scene with animated stickers! When completed, you may print the scene, save it, or start again.
Help repair the tracks for Thomas and his friends, or build your very own track! In “Track Repair,” your child will help Thomas or one of his friends make an important delivery on time by repairing gaps with track pieces. With repeated success, your child will be challenged with more complicated repairs and become one very useful engine! In “Build Your Own Track,” your child will be able to expand her creativity by creating her own railroad track. Open-ended play allows your child to have her tracks cross over and under each other and connect into loops! When the layout is finished, her favorite engine will make the first test run on the new track.
