Animalia, an innovative animated series using computer-generated imagery (also known as CGI), features a group of literate animals who live in their own magical world. These witty characters are joined by 11-year-old humans, Zoe and Alex, in an effort to restore order in Animalia, whose very heart – the Core – is being threatened.
In addition to being a visual delight for children, Animalia illustrates positive social messages and important character traits such as cooperation, persistence and creativity. It also reinforces language use and literacy, by showcasing characters who enjoy reading, writing, speaking and investigating. They also enjoy spending time at the Great Animalian Library.
This series is based on the best-selling children's book by Graeme Base.
For children 6 to 11 years old.
