BOOHBAH presents an imagination-stimulating learning environment for children to explore. Each Boohbah episode blasts off with the glowing "Boohball," which streaks in a rainbow ribbon across the sky, spun from nation to nation by children all over the world. The children call each individual Boobah - Humbah, Jingbah, Jumbah, Zing Zing Zingbah and Zumbah - to attention, initiating the characters' simple exercise routine and inviting viewers to follow along.
A Storyworld segment follows, featuring a Storypuzzle that the Storypeople - Grandmamma, Grandpappa, Mrs. Lady, Mr. Man, Brother , Sister, Auntie and Little Dog Fido - must solve. Storypuzzles can only be completed with the help of children both on and off the screen, who ensure that every tale comes to a happy resolution.
For children 3 to 6 years old.
Each episode is built around one theme, like learning to count, identifying colors or shapes, or making friends. The concepts within each episode are repeated in various ways to reinforce understanding for young children.
Boohbah engages children as active participants in their own learning and growing process. The show emphasizes the importance of physical activity and logical thinking in overall child development. The series' environment and the individual Boohbahs are inspired by the images and patterns of the natural world, helping children gain an early understanding of basic mathematical and scientific concepts.
