Franny

Ready for an adventure? Find out where Franny's feet will take her next. Five-and-a-half-year-old Franny loves to spend time in her grandfather's shoe repair shop. Each time she tries on a pair of shoes, she becomes transported to an exotic location around the world. Franny makes new friends, helps them solve problems and shows that you are never too little to help.

For children 4 to 7 years old.

Series Goals

  • To promote global awareness in a fun and exciting way.
  • To create enthusiasm about exploration.
  • To encourage problem-solving skills in even the youngest viewers.

An interactive segment, Franny's Treasures, follows each story. In this segment, Franny asks viewers for their help in figuring out answers to game-like challenges. The educational content of Franny's Treasures will expand on concepts explored in the preceding story. After the segment, viewers can join Franny in a fun sing-along.

Helping Kids Prepare for School

By focusing on a curriculum that includes global awareness, problem solving, science, socio-emotional learning and vocabulary development, Franny's Feet exposes children to a multi-faceted learning experience. When interacting with Franny's Treasures, children will also be exposed to decision making, verbal participation and responsive movement; all of which will benefit them in a classroom setting.
