Based on William Joyce's book, George Shrinks is an animated series about a boy who wakes up and discovers he's the size of a mouse. He quickly learns how to tackle his daily tasks despite his tiny size. Along the way, he overcomes obstacles and accepts his limitations. The book-based program helps develop problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

George Shrinks helps children develop the cognitive and social skills they will need to function well in school. By highlighting the fun side of learning, George encourages kids to think critically in order to solve problems and overcome obstacles and also introduces them to some of the basic principles of a science curriculum. George also models self-acceptance and respect for others.
