Flashpoints USA with Bryant Gumbel and Gwen Ifill Flashpoints USA with Bryant Gumbel and Gwen Ifill

This innovative new public affairs series from PBS brings together both compelling examinations of critical issues and a dynamic pairing of two of the most respected names in journalism, Bryant Gumbel and Gwen Ifill. The series will take a novel approach, focusing on timely issues permeating American life through the on-the-ground experiences in the communities where the issues coalesce -- their flashpoints. "Flashpoints USA" premieres July 15 with "The Sacrifices of Security," an exploration of the costs of homeland security and its implications.
