Anne Makepeace has been writing, producing, and/or directing independent films since 1983. Among her credits are the American Playhouse Theatrical Feature Thousand Pieces of Gold; the documentary film Ishi, the Last YahI, winner of the Best American Independent Film in Munich and Best Film at the Native American Film Festival; the Emmy-nominated Moonchild, a docu-drama about the Moonies broadcast on HBO, Bravo and Channel 4; and Night Driving, broadcast on Showtime, and winner of a Gold Award at Houston WorldFest. Baby, It’s You was an official Sundance Film Festival selection. Makepeace is currently developing a feature-length documentary about the renowned photographer of Native Americans, Edward Curtis.
