As she sails down the Seine, filmmaker Agnès Varda recalls when her family gathered in Paris during the Occupation. In this clip from The Beaches of Agnès, she reminisces about studying and attending classes during the war, and of her nostalgia for the harbors and ships of Sête, the coastal village where they had lived before Paris. She also recalls some of her favorite places to visit, including the Pont des Arts and the library at the Louvre.
