Filmmaker Olivier Meyrou talks about why he changed the title of his film from "The Mechanics of Hatred" to Beyond Hatred after spending time with the extraordinary Chenu family. He also explains that he structured the film according to the form of mourning, and how the 8-minute-long shot of a running path in a park in the film is an homage to François Chenu.
