Danielle JacksonAfter crisscrossing the globe organizing projects at the world’s museums, Danielle Jackson is excited to land at the Bronx Documentary Center. As former cultural director at Magnum Photos New York, Danielle has coordinated a range of lectures, travelling exhibitions and retrospectives for museums, universities, and photo festivals in more than a dozen countries. She is passionate about history, media, photography, contemporary art and video and seeks to engender new dialogues around visual culture. She has received a BFA in Film and Television and an MA in Africana Studies, both from New York University. She has spoken at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Southeast Museum of Photography, Fovea Editions and the Asahi Gallery, Tokyo, among others.
