Public television has been a home to great independent documentaries for many years, but how you get your film on programs such as POV? What are broadcasters looking for in your submissions? Which broadcaster should you submit to, and when in your process?
POV’s Vice President of Programming & Production Chris White will be joining #docchat next Tuesday, June 10, 2014, on Google+ from 1-2 PM (10-11 AM PT), answering questions about getting your film on POV and other public television outlets.

How: Go to the Google+ event page to watch the live video. Let us know you’re coming and get your questions in early by RSVPing on the Google+ event page. You can also leave your question as a comment on Google+, on this post or by tweeting with the hashtag #docchat. If you are accessing the chat via a mobile device, you will need the Hangouts app which must be synced to YouTube. Download the app for iOS or Android devices.
