I divide my time between Los Angeles and Pistoia, a town 30 kilometers outside Florence, where I work in a variety of media.

Recent projects include "Lost in Italy" for the Fine Living television network, the Tulse Luper Project with Peter Greenaway, "The Circuit," a novel due out later this year from Penguin Books, and Foreign Substance, a website featuring people, places, trends and stuff from around the world.

Currently, I'm producing a photo book on traditional ways of life that are rapidly vanishing across Italy.
