Simon Anholt


I write extensively on national identity and reputation, and am the British Government's advisor on Public Diplomacy. I have advised the governments of many countries, including the Netherlands, Jamaica, and Sweden, as well as organisations including the United Nations and the World Bank. My books include Another One Bites The Grass; Brand New Justice (which deals with the role of brands in economic development), and Brand America (which charts the rise and fall of America's reputation), and I'm a Founding Editor of the quarterly journal, Place Branding and Public Diplomacy. Finally, I am the founder of the Anholt Nation Brands Index and City Brands Index.
