. The program aired in 1994, shortly after the release of Kunstler's autobiography, My Life as a Radical Lawyer
, and the publication of the Vanity Fair
article which called him the "most hated lawyer in America." In this conversation, Heffner asks Kunstler why he chooses to defend the "pariahs" that he represents, as well as other questions about his career as recounted in his book.
