We are now accepting applications for POV Hackathon 8. Apply by Friday, March 6, 2015, at midnight Eastern Time. There is one form for applicants proposing POV Hackathon project ideas ("media makers" - filmmakers, journalists, visual artists, etc.) and a second form for applicants not proposing ideas ("technologists" - developers, designers, etc.). Add hackathon@pov.org to your contacts list to prevent emails from going to your junk mail folder.

Tickets

The public screening of POV Hackathon 8 projects will take place at the Made in NY Media Center by IFP (30 John Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201) on Sunday, April 5, 2015, at 7 pm.

Tickets are free, but space is limited, so you must RSVP to attend.

POV Hackathon 8 will take place in New York City the weekend of April 4-5, 2015, in partnership with the Made in NY Media Center by IFP, a new kind of co-working space and exhibition venue designed to connect the next generation of storytellers, innovators and entrepreneurs.

Expect to be busy from the Saturday morning through Sunday evening. Hacking concludes on Sunday afternoon, but there will be a screening on Sunday evening, followed by a reception.

All events take place at Made in NY Media Center By IFP, 30 John Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
