Spiegelman's landmark book was published over 20 years ago and told, in graphic-novel format, not only the story of his father Vladek's survival, but also his own experience as the son of Holocaust survivors. In this slideshow, listen to audio interviews conducted with Spiegelman in the late 1980s and early 1990s about the creation of Maus.
