KPFA made its way onto the airwaves as the first listener-supported community radio station, and quickly became known for its commitment to free speech and cultural diversity. Filmmakers Veronica Selver and Sharon Wood talk about why they decided to make KPFA On The Air. They discuss the role which KPFA played when it first broadcast in 1949, as well as the strengths and flaws of media in our modern world.
