Asbestos on the High School Track
In 1970, vermiculite tailings were used to make the track at Libby High Schools. EPA inspector Paul Peronard discusses the fact that over the years, hundreds of students have been inadvertently exposed to high amounts of vermiculite, as the dust kicked up from the tracks contained many dangerous asbestos fibers.
