Traditional Scottish Folk Song (Clip 1 of 4)

In this additional scene from Lomax the Songhunter, filmmaker Rogier Kappers goes to Scotland and meets Hugh Sinclair, who sings a song about returning to Barra from Glasgow after 30 years. Alan Lomax wrote during his journey in the 1950s, "I took the road to the Hebrides. These Islands lie 50 miles west of Scotland. All day we ran south along the bleak coast. It was a grey day and the islands were cold and uninviting to me. I had forgotten what my informant had told me. The best thing about the islanders is their welcome for the stranger."
