Salim's Case Progresses
In this clip from The Oath, the pre-trial phase of terrorist suspect Salim Hamdan's military tribunal begins at Guantánamo. Hamdan's military lawyer, Brian Mizer, talks to the press about Hamdan's defense and his case. Hamdan is the plaintiff in the landmark Supremr Court Case, Hamdan v. Rumsfeld. The Court, in a victory for Hamdan, ruled that the military commission trying Hamdan's case violated the Geneva Conventions.
