The Computer Clubhouse is a model after-school learning environment where young people from inner-city neighborhoods explore their own interests and become confident learners through the use of technology. Clubhouse Members work with adult mentors to develop computer-based projects inspired by their own ideas, gaining valuable job and life skills in the process.

The Clubhouse was founded in 1993 by The Computer Museum in collaboration with the MIT Media Laboratory. There are now five Computer Clubhouses in operation, four in Boston and one in Germany.
