The Establishment of the ICC (Clip 1 of 2)

In the first clip associated with The Reckoning lesson plan, a movement for an international court begins in the aftermath of the atrocities of World War II, and over time, the court is established. Students should consider how cases of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity were addressed before the establishment of the ICC and address whether they think there is a need for a global system of justice like the ICC.
