Never the Same
Coming home, we are looked down upon...our lives have been destoryed forever and our boyhood taken away from us. America looks the other way when we speak, we are freaks! We did as we were asked and now we are paid with distrust and ignorance. If we had been younger and sent to the "Gulf War" instead, we would be hero's...what is wrong with America? I thought, as many others did, that we were doing what was right and protecting what we had been brought up to believe...now you turn your back on us...in the future...just leave us out of it...there is no pride left in my life...you have taken my heart and walked on it!
