Elizabeth Barret (2000)

While gathering images for a film in 1967, filmmaker Hugh O'Connor was murdered by an angry landowner. Elizabeth Barret probes the use of media and its relationship to public knowledge using this incident in Stranger With A Camera. In talking about the film, she describes her own relationship to the communities she films, as well as the role which media can play in a community.
